Lori Alan, the DC-born actor, writer, and producer, has been entertaining folks since she could talk. She made her TV debut at age five for Shakey's Pizza and graduated with honors from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

 

Lori's best known for her iconic roles, voicing Pearl Krabs on SpongeBob SquarePants, Diane Simmons on Family Guy, Sue Storm in The Fantastic Four, and The Boss in the award-winning video game series, Metal Gear. Lori is a part of the Pixar family with her ever-lovable characters in Monsters University, Wall-E, Mom's Sadness in Inside Out 1 and Inside Out 2 and Bonnie's Mom in Toy Story 3, 4 and 5. She's also rocked the stage in productions like The Pee-wee Herman Show and as Mae in the original Los Angeles production of Reefer Madness and reprised her role for the 25th Anniversary show.

Lori made a mark in T.V. with recurring roles on Grey's Anatomy, Law and Order, Shameless, Will and Grace, The Hard Times of RJ Burger, Workaholics, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and her latest gig on award-winning Netflix Series, Nobody Wants This.

 

When she's not acting, in her spare time, Lori coaches voice-over talent, writes, directs and produces her own projects, and is a self-proclaimed "Crazy Dog Lady", spoiling her three rescue babies. She advocates for her favorite animal rescue and protection foundations such as; Best Friends LA, Animal Hope and Wellness, Pasadena Humane Society, Marley's Mutts, and so many more! She's a proud vegan who loves discovering new gluten-free cookies and belting out tunes in the shower.
